MEYOS submits 9 industry support proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers

The MEYOS Association has submitted a 9-point document to the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan with proposals to boost the furniture industry:
- Profit tax exemption for furniture exporters
- Extending currency control period on receivables from 180 to 360 days
- Subsidies on transport costs for exports
- Higher customs duties on Chinese imported furniture
- Expanded list of preferential raw materials
- Salary coverage for invited experts
- Support for advertising Uzbek brands abroad
- Financing for production systematization
- Faster certification procedures
